Lone Peak Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for PRN coverage in Draper, Utah. You will join a compassionate ultrasound team and support the care-centered mission of our facility.

You will perform diverse ultrasound studies, ensure exam protocols meet diagnostic needs, and collaborate with interpreting physicians. The role requires technical proficiency, patient care focus, and the ability to work effectively with students and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures and manage exam protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of life-saving techniques and apply under pressure.
• Assist in introducing ultrasound basics to student technologists.
• Assess and provide care appropriate to all ages served; interpret information for clinicians.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be part of our friendly and compassionate Ultrasound team. We are proud to provide the "care likefamily" mission of the hospital. We are looking for someone to join our team that works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do.

• You will performa variety of Ultrasound Procedures andare responsible forexam protocols that provide diagnostic information to the interpreting physician.
• You must have a working knowledge ofthe life-saving techniques and be capable of performing well under pressure.
• You will assume the responsibility for specified examinations and willbe responsible forintroducing the basics of ultrasound to the student technologists.
• You willbe responsible forassessment, treatment of careappropriate toall ages of patients served.
• You willdemonstrateyour knowledge and skills in obtaining and interpreting information in terms of thepatients'needs.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (ARRT-S) Sonography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
