Qualifications

• Must graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
• CPR certification per AHA and sonography credentialing.
• Experience from an accredited school of sonography or BE.

Responsibilities

• Operate sonographic equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for scans.
• Present preliminary findings to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Perform emergency exams at bedside and monitor patient safety.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and date of birth.
