Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and Work Experience: Diploma/certificate from an Ultrasound college/school is required.
• Licenses/Certifications required: ARDMS/CCI/ARRT or equivalent within one year of hire (CA HI preferred).
• BLS certification required.
• Essential functions include ultrasound imaging, patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Uses ultrasound equipment to direct high-frequency sound waves and capture quality images.
• Provides direct patient care, assesses patient condition and prepares patients for procedures.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Prepares rooms and equipment for ultrasound procedures.
• Verifies equipment status prior to daily use.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
