Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a vocational/technical program in diagnostic sonography.
• Current RDMS certification is required.
• 1–3 years of ultrasound technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for ultrasound exam and position on the table per SOPs.
• Obtain imaging and reports; coordinate with referring physician for exam.
• Set up equipment and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate results.
• Identify structures and differentiate artifacts from pathology; decide if further evaluation is needed.
• Monitor patient during exam and report changes in condition.
• Document image data and label studies; maintain logs.
