• 1-3 years of technical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for ultrasound exam and positions patient accordingly.
• Obtains pertinent imaging and diagnostic reports for correlation.
• Consults with referring physician to determine appropriate ultrasound exam.
• Sets up equipment and adjusts settings for accurate results.
• Performs ultrasound procedures and recognizes normal vs. pathologic findings.
• Documents image details and maintains exam logs.
• Performs calibration checks and troubleshooting of equipment.
