Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic sonography across OB/GYN, abdomen, pediatric extremities and vascular imaging. You will demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and collaborate with licensed practitioners to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires graduation from an AMA-approved school of Sonography, 2 years of experience preferred, and licensure support (RDMS or ARRT(S) preferred; those unregistered must register within a year of hire).

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Sonography.
• 2 years experience preferred.
• License: RDMS or ARRT (S) strongly preferred; unregistered sonographers must be registered within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provides ultrasound services to diagnose or treat patients.
• Performs sonographic imaging in OB/GYN, abdomen, pediatric extremities and vascular procedures.
• Interprets anatomy for diagnosis and/or intervention at the request of a licensed practitioner.
• Maintains professional ethics and patient care standards.
• Assesses patient conditions to ensure successful completion of procedures.
