Job summary

Capital Health in New Jersey seeks a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform general, perinatal and vascular ultrasounds, ensuring high-quality patient care. The role maintains equipment and exam rooms and works independently to support efficient departmental operations.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of ultrasonography with general, perinatal and vascular training, ARRT(S) and RDMS/RVTS credentials, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of ultrasonography with general, perinatal and vascular training.
• ARRT(S) and CCI-RVS or RDMS Ob/Gyn and RDMS Abdomen credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Performs first trimester perinatal, vascular, and general ultrasounds.
• Collaborates with Perinatologist, Radiologist and referring physicians; reviews ultrasounds.
• Sends images to PACS and documents results in the patient record.
