Job summary

Capital Health in Pennington, NJ is seeking an Ultrasonographer to perform general, perinatal and vascular ultrasounds. You will operate ultrasound equipment, maintain patient safety, and provide accurate data for interpretation.

The role requires ARRT(S) and RDMS credentials, hospital experience preferred, and commitment to infection control and efficient departmental operations. This part-time position offers benefits and opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of ultrasonography including general, perinatal, and vascular procedures.
• ARRT(S) and CCI-RVS or RDMS Ob/Gyn and RDMS Abdomen registries and RVT/RVS certification.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Performs first trimester perinatal ultrasounds, vascular ultrasounds, as well as general ultrasounds.
• Demonstrates understanding of ultrasound principles, anatomy and pathology for optimal exams.
• Adheres to policies to ensure examinations are optimized for interpretation.
• Provides accurate interpretable data, clinical history and results for all exams.
• Completes temporary ultrasound reports and patient charting.
• Collaborates with Perinatologist, Radiologist, referring Physician and/or Vascular Surgeon.
• Sends images to PACS and maintains equipment and rooms.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and adheres to infection control.
