Job summary

East Liverpool City Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound exams, position patients and operate equipment for diagnostic imaging. You will record, process, and securely transmit images to PACS for interpretation.

Qualified candidates will have RDMS/ARDMS or ARRRT certification in at least one body region and must graduate from an accredited ultrasound program. BCLS certification is required upon hire, with previous experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RDMS/ARDMS or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording.
• The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
