CharterCARE Health Partners is seeking a qualified individual to utilize ultrasound equipment for obtaining high-quality diagnostic images. This role requires attending safety training and works in a well-ventilated area, with possible exposure to electrical energy and bodily fluids.
A high school diploma and completion of formal training in Ultrasound Technology are mandatory, along with ARDMS certification and CPR certification within three months of hire. The position requires standing, walking, and lifting for most of the day.
Summary: Utilizes ultrasound equipment to obtain high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner for the efficient operation of the Ultrasound Department.
Education: Must have a high school diploma plus satisfactory completion of formal training in an approved school of Ultrasound Technology. Must be ARDMS certified or eligible. In addition, must also be CPR certified or obtain it within 3 months from date of hire.
Experience: Minimum of one year clinical experience in ultrasound.
Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Attends all related safety training and all other training programs as required by outside regulatory agencies and/or audits. Rectifies any specific job-related hazards for all areas of responsibility through appropriate measures. Works in a clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated area. May be exposed to electrical and radiant energy and to unpleasant physical conditions of patients. Stands, walks, and lifts (medium to heavy weights) most of the day. The possibility of exposure to blood and body fluids does exist in this work environment.
