Job summary

East Liverpool City Hospital, a Prime Healthcare Foundation member, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist per diem to join our imaging team. You will perform ultrasound exams, prepare recordings, and ensure images are transmitted to PACS for interpretation.

Responsibilities include positioning patients and equipment, maintaining image quality, and adhering to safety and credentialing requirements. ARDMS/ARRT certification within 90 days, BCLS, and computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• RDMS/ARRT certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program within 90 days of hire.
• Previous ultrasound experience is preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams and ensure proficiency in producing diagnostic scans.

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.


• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.


• Previous experience preferred.


• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.


• Proficient computer skills
