The starting pay is $34.00 to $51.71 per hour, with shifts weekday or weekend as needed. Applicants should have ARDMS eligibility/registration, CPR as required, and the ability to commit to flexible scheduling including call rotations; OSHA and TJC standards apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered or registry eligible with ARDMS.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Maintenance of continuing education credits as licensure requires.
• Exceptions may apply under the Medical and Administrative Director's discretion.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound diagnostic procedures by selecting appropriate transducers and correct scanning sequences.
• Reviews physician orders and patient charts to ensure the correct examination is performed.
• Establishes testing schedules by prioritizing requests and ensuring staff coverage.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and cleans/disinfects after use.
• Assists radiologists in invasive procedures and produces diagnostic images.
• Inputs data into PACS and RIS for charges and records.
• Ensures compliance with age-specific patient care and safety standards.
