Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for per diem/PRN shifts. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining imaging quality across Mercy facilities. Base rate is $45.00 per hour with W-2 employment and flexible scheduling to fit lifestyle. Prior ARDMS/ARRT/CCI registries and BLS are preferred, with licensing requirements depending on state

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours.
• Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certifications/Registrations: 2 applicable registries with ARDMS OR ARRT OR CCI; Basic Life Support (BLS).
• License: State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• Preferred Skills: Proficiency in operating imaging equipment, anatomy/physiology knowledge, attention to detail, ability to follow complex instructions, strong communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
