Job summary

A leading health care provider in New York is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to operate ultrasound equipment and perform exams. The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited ultrasound program and must obtain ARDMS certification within six months. Responsibilities include providing exceptional patient care and adhering to established standards. Responsibilities

• Operates Ultrasound equipment as directed by physicians and performs exams according to established standards and procedures.
• Continually provides customer service excellence.
• Must be able to lift, bend and pull.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasound.
• ARDMS required within six months from date of hire.
• Experience in general sonography and Echo cardiology
• BLS required. ( American Heart Association)
• On Call rotation requirement

Salary Range

USD $47.42 - USD $55.14 /Hr.
