We are seeking a Radiologic/ CAT Scan Technologist to join our Good Samaritan University Hospital Team

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of clinical and research procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative.
• The technologists will produce and evaluate CT images for technical quality, properly identifies images and patient and effectively uses judgment for protocols and procedures.
• Medication oversight which includes documentation of delivery of contrast media.
• Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology
• ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; certified to inject contrast
• 1 year experience working as a Diagnostic Technologist required
• Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axid Tomography preferred
• BLS- American Heart Association (only accepted)

Salary Range

USD $52.66 - USD $65.52 /Hr.
