Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Part-Time Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist to join our Avon, IN team. You will operate ultrasound scanners to produce diagnostic images, maintaining patient comfort and safety while delivering high-quality results.

The ideal candidate is ARDMS registered, AMA/CAAHEP-certified, and licensed (where required), with CPR. This role offers a 30-hour week, Monday-Wednesday, with weekday shift flexibility and strong patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-accredited sonography program or CAAHEP-approved program.
• ARDMS registration in good standing; imaging specialty certification (AB/BR/ObGyn) preferred.
• State license as a Sonographer where required; CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced sonography imaging procedures with minimal supervision.
• Explain procedures and position patients to obtain optimal images.
• Maintain RIS records and follow safety regulations.
• Assist with protocol manuals, software upgrades, and training as needed.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
