You will follow department policies, maintain patient information securely, and uphold professional standards in a fast-paced clinical setting. Applicants must complete an Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma, pass the SPI exam, and strive for ARDMS certification; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• SPI exam passed; ARDMS certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Current ARDMS certifications or registry eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and operation of ultrasound equipment.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications according to policy.
