Schedule: Part Time

Shift: Days Saturday/Sunday 9:00am-5:30pm

Location: AdventHealth Daytona Beach - 301 Memorial Medical Pkwy, Daytona Beach, 32117

Role Responsibilities:

Performs CT and MRI imaging procedures. Assists radiologists in special procedures such as biopsies. Maintains records of examinations performed. Obtains and documents patient clinical history. Performs darkroom, clerical, and transport functions. Participates in standby call. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and departmental standards. Assists in Radiology Department as needed. Adheres to hospital compliance, rules, regulations, and accreditation standards.

Value You’ll Bring:

• Performs ultrasound imaging of abdominal, pelvic, OB, trans-vaginal, small parts (thyroid, testicular), breast, vascular, and Doppler studies.
• Positions patients and equipment, manipulates transducers, and adjusts technical factors to obtain optimal images and information.
• Notes velocities, measures structures, and documents clinical history for accurate radiologist interpretation.
• Coordinates equipment service, preventative maintenance, and sterilizes transducers as needed.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The expertise and experience needed to succeed:

• Associates degree from an accredited program.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of experience.
• Certifications in ABD, GYN, OB, Vascular, RVT, Pediatric, or Breast imaging.
