Schedule and Location

Schedule: Part Time

Shift: Days, Saturday/Sunday 9:00am-5:30pm

Community: AdventHealth Daytona Beach - 301 Memorial Medical Pkwy, Daytona Beach, 32117

Role Overview

Performs CT and MRI imaging procedures, assists Radiologists in special procedures such as biopsies, maintains records of examinations, obtains and documents patient clinical history, performs darkroom, clerical, and transport functions, participates in standby call, and performs basic patient care within scope of practice and departmental standards. Adheres to compliance and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound imaging of abdominal, pelvic, OB, trans-vaginal, small parts (thyroid, testicular), breast, vascular imaging, and Doppler studies.
• Positions patients and equipment, manipulates transducers, and adjusts technical factors to obtain optimal images and information.
• Notes velocities, measures structures, and documents clinical history for accurate interpretation.
• Coordinates equipment maintenance and sterilization of transducers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
