Job summary

Quorum Health Corporation is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a part-time, on-site role at Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine, TX. The incumbent will perform diagnostic sonographic exams, schedule and record results, and maintain logs while ensuring equipment calibration and supply orders are processed.

The ideal candidate has an ARDMS registration, 1+ year of ultrasound experience, and preferred vascular and OB/GYN experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a two-year allied health degree and completion of an approved one-year ultrasound program.
• 1+ years of experience in the field.
• Requires registration with ARDMS.
• OBGYN experience and registry required.
• Vascular experience and registry highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
• Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.
• Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Requires a certain degree of creativity and latitude to perform a variety of tasks.
