Job summary

ProHealth Care in Waukesha, WI seeks a sonographer to produce high quality ultrasounds for patients of all ages, using cross-sectional anatomy knowledge and modern US systems including PACS. The role requires ARDMS certification in OB/GYN, Abdomen and Vascular, with new grads eligible for Abdomen certification and within one year to complete OB/GYN and Vascular.

Continuing education, CPR certification, and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license are mandatory.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN, Abdomen and Vascular.
• New graduate candidates must have ARDMS certification in Abdomen.
• Maintains all necessary continuing education requirements for ARDMS.
• Maintains certification in CPR.
• Valid WI driver's license and in good standing.
• Sound understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Meets all necessary competencies within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality ultrasounds on patients of all ages.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and operating US systems, PACS and related software.
• Provides patient-focused service with safety as a priority.
• Shall provide a patient experience centered on service excellence.
