Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound examinations under radiology leadership. You will obtain patient history and clinical data to aid in diagnosis, and you must be available for weekends and on-call hours while rotating through MMH, MCC, MKC, MIP, MSS, MAS sites.

Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, documenting results in RIS/PACS/EMR, and ensuring age-appropriate imaging quality across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARRT(R.T.(S)) or equivalent certification by hire or within 1 year.
• Familiar with ultrasound procedures and patient care.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients as requested.
• Operate Ultrasound equipment and acquire high-quality images.
• Obtain patient history and clinical data for diagnostic needs.
• Document orders and imaging results in RIS, PACS, and EMR.
• Rotate through multiple sites and be available for weekends/on-call.
