University of Michigan Health-West is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist I to perform imaging studies under supervision. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment, assisting with patient care, and ensuring adherence to imaging protocols.

The position requires ARDMS registry maintenance, completion of an AMA-approved program, and at least six months of clinical ultrasound experience, along with current BLS certification. Shift varies, on-site hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved ultrasound program and ARDMS board registry.
• ARDMS registry must be maintained.
• Minimum six months clinical ultrasound experience.
• Core knowledge in health care and anatomy/physiology relevant to ultrasound.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Maintain certifications, registrations, and education requirements of the hospital, department, and accrediting body.
• Utilize and effectively use all Ultrasound equipment and software in the performance of daily responsibilities.
• Provide safe and effective patient care while performing duties of Ultrasound Technologist.
• Demonstrate the appropriate knowledge of all protocols and procedures.
• Maintain certifications, registrations, and education requirements of the hospital and accrediting body.
• Demonstrate the appropriate knowledge of all protocols and procedures.
• Display consistent proficiency in using AIDET when communicating with patients, visitors, physicians, peers, managers, volunteers, internal and external customers.
• All other duties as assigned.
