Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Rutherford Regional Health System in Rutherfordton, NC, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a mission-driven team providing high-quality imaging services. This full-time role features M-F 8:30a-5p with rotating call (one week a month).

Youll perform sonographic exams, maintain equipment, and ensure patient-centered care across all ages. Applicants should be licensed in the state, have an accredited DMS program, ARDMS/ARRT certification or eligibility, and BLS; one

Qualifications

• Current State License in good standing.
• Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program.
• ARRT or DMS Certification and eligibility to obtain certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician.
• Maintains supplies and a clean and orderly work area; notifies supervisor of needed items.
• Maintains equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity.
• Provides age-appropriate care to all patients.
• Acts as a physician/staff consultant and educational resource for appropriateness and accuracy of scans.
