Job summary

Banner Health Corporate in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform ultrasound exams, follow orders, and ensure high-quality patient care.

Required ARDMS/CCI/ARRT certification, BLS, and completion of a clinical rotation with sign-off; 0–3 years of experience is acceptable. This is a Registry/Per Diem position through Banner Staffing Services with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires national certification from ARDMS/CCI/ARRT.
• BLS certification required and maintenance.
• Clinical rotation with sign-off and physics/body part exams.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams by following orders and using established protocols.
• Educate patients about procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Maintain equipment quality control and safe imaging environments.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other providers for dictation and interpretation.
• Support efficient department workflow and triage as needed.
