Job summary

Banner Health Staffing Services in Buckeye, AZ is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform a range of ultrasound exams per provider orders. This on-call, registry/per diem role supports a free-standing ED facility and requires completion of an approved ultrasound program and ARDMS/CCI/ARRT certification criteria.

The candidate will educate patients, maintain equipment, and ensure safe, efficient imaging workflows.

Qualifications

• Requires ARDMS/CCI/ARRT certification or eligibility and BLS.
• Completion of an approved Ultrasound program is required.
• Clinical knowledge typically achieved by 0-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs all ultrasound exams following referring provider orders and established protocols.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and expectations.
• Maintains equipment quality control and safety in imaging areas.
• Ensures efficient workflow and triage to support Radiology services.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions.
