Qualifications

• Requires active national certification in ultrasound (ARDMS, CCI or ARRT).
• BLS certification required.
• Clinical rotation with sign-off; physics and body part exam completed.

Responsibilities

• Follow and verify referring orders for ultrasound exams.
• Educate patients about procedures; uphold professional behavior and teamwork.
• Perform equipment quality control and troubleshoot to maintain readiness.
• Demonstrate competence in invasive/interventional procedures where applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical responsibilities.
• Support department workflow and inventory to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Coordinate with radiology staff and external customers as needed.
