Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic sonography in the radiology department. You will follow department protocols to produce high-quality images and communicate findings to radiologists.

Responsibilities include quality control, equipment troubleshooting, safety compliance, and ongoing training to maintain licensure. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must meet ARDMS/ARRT (S) eligibility within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sonography following department protocols.
• Contribute to quality control and report equipment issues.
• Document findings and ensure proper image storage in RIS/PACS.
• Maintain ultrasound safety practices and sterile technique.
• Participate in ongoing training and comply with licensure requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians and staff.
