Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking an entry-level ultrasound technologist to perform ultrasound procedures with knowledge of anatomy and physiology. You will conduct high-quality ultrasound exams for interpretation by physicians across ages from children to adults.

Requirements include 0-1 year of ultrasound experience, ARDMS certification or registry eligibility with certification within 12 months, and BLS on hire with ongoing renewal.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of ultrasound diagnostic procedures experience.
• ARDMS certification or registry eligible required; certification within the first year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required on hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level ultrasound procedures for interpretation by physicians across children, adolescents and adults.
• Produce high-quality imaging and ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and equipment safety throughout procedures.

Additional Job Description

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Work Experience: 1 year of modality specific experience preferred. Registration/Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT(S) eligible, must obtain certification within 12 months . Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
