Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina? (MUHA) is seeking an entry-level ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for interpretation by a physician across pediatric to adult patients.

The role requires knowledge of anatomical positioning and physiology, 0-2 years experience preferred, and ARRT/ARDMS certification with BLS; 20 hours per week, hourly pay, and a supportive team in Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• One year experience performing ultrasound scans preferred.
• Must be ARRT(S) or ARDMS certified and BLS certified.

Additional Job Description

Required Registration/Certification:Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (S) or Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required , either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
