Qualifications

  • Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required.
  • Registry eligible required; prefer Registered Ultrasound Sonographer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound exam.
  • Prepare patients for exam and ensure their comfort.
  • Interpret ultrasound and maintain equipment.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Ultrasound Technologist- Days

PositionHighlights:

  • Position:Ultrasound Technologist
  • Location: Evanston Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time 40 hours
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30 AM-6 PM, rotating weekends
  • Call: 6-8 calls per month/ as needed
  • Required Travel:Local- Skokie as needed

What you will do:

  • Perform ultrasound exam
  • Prepare patients for exam: obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort
  • Interprets ultrasound
  • Cleans and maintains equipment
  • Schedules patients if necessary

What you will need:

  • License:N/A
  • Education:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
  • Certification:CPR-BLS required. Completion offormal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required. Registry eligible required; prefer Registered Ultra sonographer
  • Skills: N/A
