Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy while adhering to safety and quality standards. The role involves RIS/PACS utilization, multi-site coordination, and ongoing training to maintain certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Graduate Technologist designation by the Texas Medical Board.
• Eligible for ARRT (R) registry.
• Able to attain ARRT(R) and MRT-General Certificate within 1 year or ARRT(R), MRT-General, BLS.
• Ability to use computer keyboard and digital image acquisition.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography including fluoroscopic studies per department policies.
• Participate in equipment quality control and report malfunctions.
• Use RIS for documentation and communicate atypical findings to radiologists.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique as required.
• Engage in formal/in-service training and keep licenses/certifications current.
• Interact effectively with patients and staff, aligning with clinic values.
