Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital in Walterboro, SC is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures and assist with a variety of exams. You will handle patient histories, document exam results, take vital signs and ensure rooms are ready for the next patient.

The role requires an AD/BA in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, BLS within 30 days, RVT within 1 year, and RDMS or ARRT-S within 6 months. Colleton Hospital offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing education support.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RV T certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• RDMS or ARRT-S certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures on all parts of the body, including common exams listed.
• Complete patient history forms, document exam sheets, take vital signs and check labs as needed.
• Restock exam rooms with required supplies between patients.
