Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (ARRT-S) Sonography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures on all parts of the body including common exams listed (Limited OB, Pelvic, Head/Neck-thyroid, lymph nodes, carotid, venous/arterial exams, invasive procedures).
• Complete patient history form, document the technologist exam sheet, take vital signs and check labs as needed, completing consent forms when necessary, and re-stock exam rooms with required supplies between patients.
