Job summary

Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to join our pediatric imaging team. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and assist with minor surgical procedures to support patient care.

Hours are 2pm–10:30pm with back-up call and holiday rotation. ARDMS, RVT, and CPR/BLS are required by start date; an AA-CABHEP accredited program is expected for graduation. Pediatric experience is not required.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registered in Abdomen required by start date.
• RVT registration required by start date.
• CPR/BLS certification required by start date.
• Graduate from a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures for subsequent evaluations.
• Participate in back-up call and holiday rotation.

As an Ultrasound Technologist you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and assisting with minor surgical procedures for subsequent evaluations and treatment.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• ARDMS - registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Abdomen required upon start date. ARDMS certification must be maintained throughout employment.
• RVT - registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Vascular required upon start date.
• CPR Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required upon start date.
• Associate's Degree. Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
