Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a passionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our pediatric-focused team. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and supporting minor surgical procedures, with an emphasis on comfort for children and families.

Hours are 2pm–10:30pm, with rotation on call and holidays. Pediatric work experience is NOT required; certification requirements include ARDMS and RVT, and BLS/CPR. Competitive sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registered in Abdomen required by start date.
• RVT registered by ARDMS required upon start date.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Associate’s Degree from an accredited program.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures for subsequent evaluations.

As an Ultrasound Technologist you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and assisting with minor surgical procedures for subsequent evaluations and treatment.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• ARDMS – registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Abdomen required upon start date.
• ARDMS certification must be maintained throughout employment.
• RVT – registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Vascular required upon start date.
• CPR Certification – Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required upon start date.
• Associate’s Degree.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Hours: 2pm-10:30pm, this role will also participate in back up call and a holiday rotation.
