Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health, a part of UHS, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist (Full-Time) to deliver high-quality sonography services. You will work under the Imaging Department, ensuring safe patient care and supporting students and staff to maintain smooth department operations.

The role emphasizes adherence to standards, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with clinical personnel across the hospital network.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Diploma from certified school of Radiology.
• Current RDMS license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Sonographer and acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical ultrasound services according to ultrasound practice standards.
• Act as a resource to students, residents, fellows, and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions.
• Administer sound patient care practices following hospital and department policies.
• Maintain equipment, exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
