Job summary

Adventist Health Hanford is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound exams and provide image documentation for physician interpretation. The role includes supervising staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety with adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

You will work per diem in a hospital setting with a focus on accurate imaging, patient comfort, and collaborative care with the Ultrasound department.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from an Ultrasound program is required.
• Certification/registration in ARDMS (Abdomen, OB, or RVT) or CCI RVS or ARRT-S/VS within one year of hire (CA/HI regions preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures following accepted protocols.
• Produces diagnostic images for physician review and interpretation.
• Supervises and mentors ultrasound personnel and supports team.
• Maintains and calibrates ultrasound equipment; ensures quality control and records.
