Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging across pediatric to geriatric patients. You will participate in quality control, serve as a technical resource for junior staff, and help manage call coverage to ensure department needs are met.

The role requires ARDMS certification and BLS certification at hire, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration with radiologists and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in diagnostic ultrasound approved by the AMA or equivalent education/experience.
• National Certification from ARDMS required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging for patients of all ages.
• Contribute to quality control and department improvements.
• Serve as a clinical/technical resource for less experienced sonographers.
• Participate in the department call schedule to meet staffing needs.
