Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist I for the Ultrasound Unit. This full-time, day-shift position performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging across all patient ages and collaborates with radiologists and the Radiology Supervisor.

You will participate in quality control, serve as a resource for less experienced sonographers, and contribute to staffing through the call schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a diagnostic ultrasound program approved by the AMA/AAHEA or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: ARDMS Certification.
• Upon hire: BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging for patients from infant to geriatric.
• Serve as a clinical/technical resource for less experienced sonographers.
• Participate in quality control activities and call schedule to meet staffing needs.
