Advocate Health’s Floyd Medical Center – Ultrasound team is hiring a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams. You will support the Radiologist in procedures, ensure image quality, and help maintain efficient department workflow.

The position requires ARDMS/ARRT or OB/GYN/AB registry, BLS, and completion of a diagnostic ultrasound program. Expect a patient-centric environment with comprehensive benefits and on-site responsibilities in Rome, GA.

Competenze

• Growth and development knowledge relevant to patient populations served.
• Certified ultrasound professional with ARDMS/ARRT or OB/GYN/AB registry requirements.
• BLS certification is required.

Mansioni

• Examines requests and verifies orders on assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in invasive procedures.
• Evaluates exam quality and develops techniques for efficiency.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisors and engineers.
• Operates radiology information system for exams and supplies.
• Maintains a clean, stocked work area and adheres to department rules.
