Job summary

CHRISTUS Health seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging, support other imaging staff, and ensure efficient patient flow on-site in Louisiana.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program, 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred, basic computer skills, and BLS certification. Expect possible shift changes and campus flexibility to cover needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience is preferred.
• Basic computer experience is required.
• BLS certification is required or must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable CHRISTUS Competencies (Leader of Self/Others/Leaders).
• Maintains policy adherence, professional behavior, and confidentiality.
• Promotes staff growth and engagement by collaborating with management and physicians.
• Supports radiologists and referring physicians to enhance physician satisfaction.
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS and follows downtime procedures.
