Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience as a Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or current certification within 90 days of hire.
• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of previous experience required.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams and produces diagnostic scans.
• Positions patient and equipment and records appropriate findings.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS.
