The Medical University of South Carolina Lancaster Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and imaging procedures, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely exams while delivering compassionate patient care.

Graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound Technology program with ARRT or ARDMS eligibility and BLS certification are required; advanced ultrasound registration preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound Technology program.
  • Licensure & Certifications: ARRT or ARDMS certification (or eligibility to test).
  • Advanced ultrasound registration preferred.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and imaging procedures.
  • Use professional judgment to ensure safe, accurate, and timely exams.
  • Provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after procedures.
  • Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiate life support measures when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and fellow technologists.
  • Participate in on-call imaging services as needed.
