Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound and vascular examinations, explain procedures, and assist radiologists with biopsies and vascular tests. You will ensure room readiness, proper equipment operation, and patient comfort while maintaining PACS workflows.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, complete an ultrasound program, and hold ARDMS-RCS certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and completion of an ultrasound program.
• Registration as Cardiac Sonographer (RCS/ARDMS) required; BLS.
• Ability to operate ultrasound and vascular equipment and position patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound exams.
• Performs vascular exams.
• Assists radiologist/physician with biopsies and vascular exams.
• Maintains room/equipment; stocks supplies.
• Uses PACS and promotes timely workflow.
• Cleans and adheres to OSHA and infection control policies.
