Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in the High Point at Pelham area to perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques under Radiology leadership. You will produce diagnostic images, document findings, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each exam.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT registry eligibility or certification, an AMA ultrasound education background, and a commitment to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ultrasonography program; ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible (required)
• ARDMS/ARRT certification/registration required
• Advanced modality registration preferred or within 2 years

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and obtain clinical images
• Explain procedure to patient and obtain consent
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety during exam
• Document findings and communicate with physician
• Obtain and record patient history and relevant data
• Support department audits and quality initiatives
• Contribute to student training and staff orientation
• Perform high-level disinfection and operate multiple ultrasound modalities
