Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of AMA approved Sonography program required.
• ARRT (Sonography) or ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer preferred.
• New graduates must be registry-eligible and registered within 12 months of hire date.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment and perform diagnostic procedures.
• Assess patients, review orders and document clinical history.
• Obtain informed consent and explain procedures to patients.
• Prepare patients and communicate with supervising radiologist on protocol.
