Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Sonography or CRT licensed (upon hire)
• Basic Life Support - CPR (upon hire)
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (upon hire)
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (upon hire)
• Registered Cardiac Echo (upon hire)
• Registered Fetal Echo (upon hire)
• Registered Pediatric Echo (upon hire)
• OB/GYN and Abdomen Sonography credentials required (upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Operate Ultrasound equipment and perform a full range of diagnostic procedures.
• Select proper probe to obtain optimal images for radiologist interpretation.
• Troubleshoot equipment to identify potential failures.
• Position and immobilize patients for safe and effective imaging.
• Transmit digital images to the laser camera; report equipment issues promptly.
• Explain procedures and provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
