The role requires an Associate or certificate in sonography, RDMS/RDCS preferred, and licensure as required. Excellent communication and detail orientation are essential for success in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or a certificate in diagnostic medical sonography.
• RDMS or RDCS certification preferred; state licensure as required.
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations and prepare patients. Ensure comfort and explain procedures.
• Capture and analyze images; document findings for radiologists.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment; conduct quality checks.
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout the exam.
• Engage in continuing education and maintain licensure.
