Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Radiology Technologist at St. Francis Medical Center to perform diagnostic imaging under physician direction. The role emphasizes patient safety, document prep, and team-based care in a diagnostic radiology setting.

The position requires ARRT certification, state licensure (preferred), BLS, and 1 year of related experience. Training in EPIC/EHR and PACS is a plus; generous benefits and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Associates from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred)
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)
• BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association (required at hire for some locations; preferred elsewhere)
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)
• Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient’s clinical history and lab work for licensed practitioners.
• Positions and immobilizes patient to demonstrate the anatomic area of interest.
• Applies radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic procedures with imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verifies informed consent and completes pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures; uses aseptic technique as needed.
• Performs timeout as required by policy.
• Identifies, prepares and/or administers medications/contrast as prescribed.
